Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Trina Heidt
Kirsty and Rachel are the Weather Fairies' special helpers. It is up to them to help the fairies collect the magical feathers that are used to control the weather in Wetherbury. This time, as Kirsty and Rachel are searching for a neighbors' cat, they notice that everyone in the town has little clouds over their heads. They also notice that these little clouds seem to be affecting everyone's moods and not in a good way. The girls soon find Pearl, the Cloud Fairy, and begin to search for her missing weather feather. Working together using a little fairy magic and a lot of determination, they are able to retrieve Pearl's magical feather from one of Jack Frost's evil goblins. They then return the weather in Wetherbury back to normal, at least for now. As part of the "Rainbow Magic: The Weather Fairies" series, this short chapter book will be appealing to most little girls who dream of and wish to be friends with modern day fairies.

My daughter is a 5 year old bookworm that loves for my husband and I to read to her as she's just in preschool. And while my husband and I find these books "shallow" in subject, she has us read an entire book every possible evening and they must be, of course, in the appropriate order. So from a little girls perspective, these books are AWESOME! From a my perspective, I appreciate the Dinosaur Cove series more. I like the educational, yet fantasy, in those books...and my daughter loves dinos, too. The bottom line is that we continue to purchases these books and our daughter continues to love snuggling up with us and a fairy book.

Comments from my Daughter who read this book....This book has a lot of adventure and a few scary moments like when Pearl got trapped in a Cotten Candy cloud.I would strongly recommend this to followers of fairy's. If you enjoyed the Disney Fairies Series, then you will surely enjoy this book
