What happened?! Punk-o-Ramas vol. 1-6 were all so good. I skipped vol. 7 and 8 and saw vol. 9 in the store and thought, "What the heck? I'll give this a try. The other volumes were good." Well guess what? This one STINKS! Why? Well, let me tell you: It is on Epitaph, a punk rock label; And it's called PUNK-O-RAMA, giving the consumer the idea that it is indeed a punk rock compilation. So you can imagine how disappointed I was when I got a CD with only a FEW punk songs on it while the rest of the songs consist of material from really, really, really bad, lame power-pop bands, cheesy, wanna-be goth/psychobilly bands, and rap artists...that's right, RAP! I have nothing against rap. I even like some rap. However, I DO have a problem when I'm in the mood to hear some punk and I buy what I think is a punk CD and I get rap music (and it's not even good rap music)!! Long story, short: This CD isn't even worth the 5 bucks they are selling it for. Instead, go use the money towards a Bouncing Souls or Rancid album.
