    Great read!

    The Bella Terra series by Dodd has both romance and mystery. They are, of course, written with style. Marks story will make it to my book shelf this Spring. :) .... each book has about 250 - 300 pages.

    Tight story, great cast

    More about the Di Luca family and their secrets in this second of the series. The California wine country setting is an integral part of the story. The plot is fairly predictable, but you can count on Dodd to create a tight story with a great cast of characters. Now to wait for the conclusion. Where are the diamonds and the wine?

    Great Addition to the Series!

    Revenge at Bella Terra is a fast paced romantic suspense novel, the second in a series. I love the fact that Ms. Dodd has incorporated two tried and true romance concepts- secret baby and marriage of convenience-into a book you cannot put down. Eli DiLuca is in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to his family winery. He needs 4.5 million dollars and if he marries Chloe Robinson, her father, Tomasso Conti, will give it to him.
    In the typical forced marriage novel, the heroine is a shy, retiring, young thing who can't attract a man and whose father finds her a husband. Chloe is feisty, independent, and fully aware of her father's plots. She and her father have only met recently and he is old school, wanting to plan her life. Eli is closed emotionally and focused only on work. He has a conscience, which makes him hesitate to follow through on the marriage, but circumstances force his hand. The chemistry between Eli and Chloe is combustible (in more ways than one). There is just the right amount of backstory to make both characters believable. The supporting characters are fleshed out as well, so all of the interactions add to the plot moving forward rather than distracting from it.
    The first book introduced a mystery plot involving a feud between families and a missing item that seems to be a key component to the feud. In this book the mystery is unraveled a little more, but there is still enough left to keep your interest peaked. The set up for the third book made me want to read it NOW, not wait for several months. I will definitely be in line to buy it when it comes out.

    Good one! Great series!

    This book was really good however it wasnt as good as secrets so i was expecting more. This is the second in the series and Eli has agreed to marry the daughter of a man to have his debts paid off after an accountant stole all the money from their wine business. Then ofcourse he falls for this girl and then has to figure out how he should handle the situation. Overall it really was a good book, just doesnt quite rate up there with the previous book. I cant wait until the next one to be released!

    Another excellent book by Dodd

    Christina Dodd continues the excellent Scarlet Deception Series about Bella Terra with this title. Eli discovers the winery is in serious financial collapse, thanks to an embezzlement, and he needs to find a way to a lot of $$.

    Excellent Series

    I'm really enjoying Christina Dodd's contemporary series about Bella Terra. There's just enough mystery and romance to keep a good balance. I can't wait for the next one in this series.

    Fabulous!

    I fell in love with Ms. Dodd's writing several series' ago, while waiting for her newest The Chosen One's book, I saw she had started the Scarlet Deception Series. Two days after Secret's came out I bought it and read it cover to cover the same day. I was waiting on pins and needles for Revenge to come out. This past week, I had ordered it from Barnes&Noble expecting it to get to me next week. Low and behold I ended up having it waiting for me after work on Wednesday night! I withheld reading it until I had finished my final APA paper in my English class, then went to bed. The next day I picked up Revenge and could barely pull myself away to go to work that night. Once I got home on Thursday evening I finished reading the book about 2 am. I just have to say this book is fabulous! And I can't wait til the next in the series comes out, cause I'm dying to find out where the bottle is, what Noah nows, and what Sarah is keeping back and what the aunts know about what's going on!

    Darn you Ms. Dodd!! Write faster!!~LOL~
