Overview

The New York Times Bestselling Series.

Anthony Hetheridge, ninth baron of Wellegrave and chief superintendent for Scotland Yard, will marry Kate Wakefield in three weeks. It's inevitable--the invitations are out, the flowers are ordered, the cake is chosen. But murder waits for no man, and no wedding.

In London's prestigious West End, a disgraced CEO has been murdered at Hotel Nonpareil, an exclusive destination. No one, it seems, liked Michael Martin Hughes. Not his estranged wife, Thora, or his defiant son, Griffin. Not Hotel Nonpareil's manager, its head of security, or perhaps even the two most important women in Hughes's life: his future bride, Arianna, or his secret girlfriend, Riley. And before Hughes died, he incurred the wrath of none other than Sir Duncan Godington, longtime nemesis of both CS Hetheridge and DS Paul Bhar.

Hetheridge, Kate, and Bhar find themselves under tremendous pressure to uncover the killer as fast as possible. Have Scotland Yard and Downing Street lost confidence in Hetheridge? Find out as you return to the world of ICE BLUE and BLUE MURDER in SOMETHING BLUE, the third in the New York Times bestselling Lord & Lady Hetheridge mystery series.

I loved the book and I love the series. The more you read of the series you realize that Kate and Tony are perfect for each other. In book 3 we begin to learn more about the surrounding cast of characters. It's a fun read!

The third in the Lord & Lady Hetheridge mysteries -- a lovely British murder mystery. I'm not sure what book the rest of the reviewers were reading, but it was obviously of the "blue" variety and completely unrelated. Obvious mix up.

I did not like the ending because (not the wedding area) but where they are discussing Duncan. So who killed Micheal?

I liked this mystery and its cast of characters. I'm sure knowing who everyone was from reading the first two books was useful and I recommend starting with book #1. This was an enjoyable read if not terribly challenging. I can't wait to read the next one.

Great mystery and absolutely loved the ending! The whole series has been extremely well written.

If it weren't for the fact that part of the content of this book is the solving of a murder, one might call it lighthearted. It seems that the head of the police unit is a Lord Hetheridge, 60 years old and never married, who is engaged to a commoner of 31 years. Much is made of this disparity, but that is not the whole story. There are a number of eccentric characters as the nuptials approach. If the reader is an Anglophile, he or she would probably enjoy this. I think that one book by this author is sufficient. It might be the sort of book to appeal to book clubs.

Another funny, enjoyable light read. While there is murder, and the focus is expected to be on the mystery the characters are funny, enjoyable and actually carry the book. Look forward to more in this series.

I fell in love with this new series and can not wait for the next book! A group of characters that pop out with realistic lives, motives, and desires. the plot engages you to find out "who did it". A wonderful cozy. I rate this a 5.

This is a well-crafted murder mystery set in England. I find the rest of these reviews to be confusing, to say the least. There is no porn in this book whatsoever. I think there must be some kind of mix-up.
