    The+thing+I+like+best+about+Stacey+Ballis+is+that+she+writes+stories+that+are+believable+and+could+really+happen.++No+fantasy+make+believe+running+off+with+the+prince+here%21+Her+characters+are+real+women+dealing+with+common+issues.++The+story+flows+and+at+the+same+time+you+walk+away+with+some+of+the+best+relationship+advice+you+may+ever+get.++Where+she+comes+up+with+her+ideas%2C+I+may+never+know%2C+but+I+will+definately+continue+reading+her+books%2C+even+if+its+with+a+little+spite+and+jealousy+that+I+didnt+come+up+with+the+idea+first.

    This one is in my top 10 faves!

    What I loved most about this book is the author's writing style. She writes like she's talking to you, and you get wrapped up with the plot by the end of the first chapter. It's fun to read, and I couldn't put it down. There's adult language and "situations" in this book, and anyone uncomfortable with that shouldn't get this one. But it's appropriate and reflective of the characters, and it fit with the plots. Really, this one made me laugh and I was rooting for the characters all the way!

    Ballis's 4th book is unfortunately not as good as her others. I think her 1st and 3rd books were the best. I really enjoy her writing style, but wasn't that thrilled with this new outing.

    You will want to be a Spinster Sister!

    Stacey Ballis's 'The Spinster Sisters' is like a double dip chocolate fudge, extra whipped cream and nuts sundae on a warm, sunny summer day...delightful! It's impossible not to fall in love with Jill and Jodi Spingold and their witty sisterly banter. If you are a sister, wish you had sisters and/or are an independent, empowered woman, you should enjoy this quick summer read. I finished 'Room for Improvement' the next day and really enjoyed it as well.

    Loved this book

    I really enjoyed the book. Living in Chicago, it was fun to see all of the references. I always enjoy Stacey's books and this was no exception. The sisters felt like they were friends of mine and I couldn't wait to see how it ended.

    A very good tale

    THE SPINSTER SISTERS Jodi and Jill Springold take advantage of their single status by creating a money making enterprise from their lack of marital status. They have a radio show Lunch with the Spinster Sisters and two best-selling books that encourage the virtual of the single life.------------- However, their business including a proposed TV show becomes shaky when Jill informs Jodi that she is engaged to Hunter. Though she thinks the world of Hunter and so does her two spinster aunts, Jodi believes ¿the end of an era¿ has occurred. She panics not so much because their empire will collapse from within, but if Jill marries, she will be a lonely surviving spinster sister. Suddenly the backdoor Johnnies she dates and her ex-husband Brant look good as possible mates, but that would mean giving up the rewards of spinsterhood, a tough sell to a confirmed bachelorette.--------------- The ensemble cast make THE SPINSTER SISTERS into a terrific chick lit tale as readers will enjoy the antics of the precious aunts, the back door beaus, the ex husband, the fiancé, the radio staff, and especially the two title stars.
