    NOT GREAT

Ok,I will start off saying that I loved the character Morgan but thats about all I like in this book.It was very predictable and was just missing some fire in the romance side of it.Also I didn't agree with the morals of the characters. There were alot of lose ends and the book had a really weak ending. To me it was all kinda piontless. And though the book had good plot structure and conflict,it took alot of determination on my part to fininsh it.

    raw emotion!

I love this book.... but am SO Bummed to see that in the sequel- Kristen has Jill pass away! I promised myself that I wouldn't read it (because I was so happy for Morgan and Jill to finally be complete and whole-and don't want to spoil the happy feeling!) but I probably will- because Kristen is an EXCELLENT writer!

Recommend for anyone interested in a mystery/ love story.

Kristen Heitmann does an excellent portrayal of characters and the situation. In this story, the heroine is haunted by her past but is unable to identify the event that leads to her current situation. It is well written and developed.

    2nd in a Series

While this one was well written and good - I had a harder time falling into this one as its predecessor "Rush of Wings". Still the two characters are engaging, some of the issues they struggle with very real. If you are a fan of Ms. Heitzmann, you'll enjoy adding this one to your bookshelf.

If I had to live on a deserted island the rest of my life...,

... and could only take 5 books with me, this would be one of them. I am an avid reader, consuming books I love, tossing out those I find less than great. This one tops all the books in the genre of spiritual romance. The storyline is shown above so I won't repeat it. By the way, while a sequel, this book still stands alone. The first book, A Rush of Wings, is also quite good and will help you understand the characters in The Still of Night. But don't be afraid to jump straight into Still Of Night..... although if you read one, I'm betting you will read the other. Enjoy this great book!

A wonderful follow-up to 'A Rush of Wings'

This story will make you laugh and cry. You simply cannot put it down once you begin reading it. It shows the reader how God fulfills His plan for each and every person's life.
