    Great Read!

    One of the best trillers I've ever read. Read it for the first time in high school. Now reading it again and a little disappointed in the ending. However, I will be re-reading some of his earlier books!

    Good book sorry ending!

    I enjoyed the story but it seems he got tired of writing so he just ended it abrubtly. Felt like i wasted my time reading it

    Great

    I read this book in seventh grade after my sister told me to. It was great. I read it three times that year and it was just as good every time. I would read it again but my teacher wanted to read it and she never gave it back

    Great Book

    I read this book continuosly for six hours. I just couldn't put it down. This is exactly my kind of book.I was glad I found it since I am very unhappy with a lot of books I read. The book had a interesting end, and I think it was very unpredictable. The plot was well established.I am on my second 'Saul' book and I still think that this was his greastest so far. Nothing can really explain how great this book is, you just have to read it yourself.

    This was a decent book, but John Saul has written better books. While the storyline was creepy in itself, the ending kind of let us down. We got sort of a "glimpse" of the end you could say but there was not true ending. It would have been nice if he gave readers a little more inforamtion about Sara, and about Elizabeth in the end, but the plot and the rest of the book was pretty good. So, if you are a John Saul fan pick it up, if not don't make this your first book by the author. Some of his newer novels are much better.

    Thoroughly enjoying until.....

    The ending. I was very engaged in this creepy and suspenseful tale until the ending happened. In an effort not to spoil the story, I wont say how it disappointed me and why it left me irritated but I will say that it seemed like ge either forgot a chapter or he got tired of writing it. Such a steep let down for a great novel.

    A must read for JOHN SAUL fans

    This is the VERY FIRST book I ever read, Not only did i become a "SAUL" fan after reading this book, I became a advid reader. I was 12 yrs. old when I first read it & I have re-read it more times than i can remember.This is by far one of Mr. Sauls finest books, I could not put it down. Now some thirty- some yrs later i can read it AGAIN on my NOOK! I love this book!!

    A bit of a disappointment not scary enough

    This was an extremely suspensful book but it wasn't scary or gory enough compared to some other John Sauls books but it is recommended to people who like a good suspensful book.

    Great Read

    This book was the first, but not the last, book I picked up of Sauls. It made me a devoted fan of his. The twists in all the right places made me read this book in just a couple hours.

    One of the Best

    This book was great. It was one of the best books I've ever read. And I love scary novels. I'm kind of young- but I can tell you that this book is so good that you'll be interested from first word to last. John Saul really hit home with this one. This is the first book I've read by John Saul, and it definetly won't be my last. I recommend it to everyone. It's a spine chiller.

    Couldn't put this one down!

    I have many of John Saul's books and this is another wonderful thriller. It is so graphic and detailed that you feel as if you are there. Many twists and turns as you are taken through 15 years of history to the present with an unexpected ending! John Saul keeps topping himself!

    Disappointment

    I couldn't believe this book! I've read alot of John Saul's newer novellas but this one was a major disappointment. However, I was wondering if there is a sequal, because there was no ending!!! If there is, that's great, but otherwise, I thought it was choppy

    This book is so odd and phycological, its hard to explain how it gets into you and leaves you wanting to know whats next. VERY INTERESTING book.
