Overview

The long awaited follow up to Beegie Adair's 1997 Green Hill Music debut recording, The Frank Sinatra Collection, this much anticipated sequel further explores the extensive hit list of American popular music's greatest crooner, Frank Sinatra.

In the words of the artist: "Since The Frank Sinatra Collection was released, I've been thinking about doing more of his wonderful music. It really is impossible to do justice to Frank Sinatra's artistry in one recording, because he really had several careers.

"He was a matinee idol in the '40s, a polished crooner and jazz artist in the '50s, so when the '60s came around, he was poised to be the voice of the Rat Pack, Las Vegas, and every guy who wanted to be cool...and he was the coolest of the cool.

"He sang all the good music that was coming out of films, and the tunes that were coming from Broadway, and he made them his own. This is the voice that famed tenor Placido Domingo says he considers the finest voice of the 20th century.

"This time around, our Sinatra tribute is a little more swinging, a little more nostalgic, and a little more aware that time has passed. So here are some tunes that are vintage Sinatra, some swingers, some love songs, and always, some music that will make you remember where you were when you first heard Sinatra sing it."
