Overview

Wiki the cat loves Christmas. Batting the ornaments, basking in the blinking lights -- he even helps choose the tree each year!

But this year there's trouble in Wiki's yuletide paradise when his mistress Cary decides to go skiing in Colorado instead of staying snug at home with him in Kansas City, Missouri. To derail her plans, Wiki escapes to the Christmas tree lot where he's sure Cary will find him.

He doesn't count on a blizzard or a huge German shepherd with a handsome master named Ben. All three conspire to trap Wiki on the lot. For his own good, of course.

Cary is frantic, searching everywhere for Wiki -- everywhere except the Christmas tree lot where Wiki waits to be saved, and Zeus' master waits to sweep Cary off her feet.

    THe Cat Before Chtistmas

I loved this book so much! I could not put this book down! What a smooth and enjoyable read! Lynn holds your heart the whole way through this story, i laughed, i cried, but always had a smile on my face the whole way through the book! The story is awesome, and dont let the title fool you because it is not just about a cat! It about family, friends, acceptance, support of a community.....a love story in many forms! Thank you Lynn Michaels!

    I LOVED this book!

I was looking for Christmas stories and stumbled upon The Cat Before Christmas. It intrigued me because I'm a cat lover, but also because it was a bargain - so I figured, why not? I always like to read reviews for books, and there were only two for this one, but both positive. I was drawn into the story immediately. You don't have to be a fan of cats to enjoy this book, but you'll probably find extra enjoyment if you understand kitty-quirks. Lynn Michaels did a great job of describing cat behaviors in various situations. I also loved that you could see two of the characters were on their way to a budding romance - and after getting to know these two characters throughout the book, you couldn't help but cheer that on. It was about 200 pages, a quick read, never a dull moment, and I loved every minute I spent reading this book.

    Fun!

Written mostly from the perspective of a much-loved and pampered cat. Amusing and heartwarming. Loved the interactions and "dialogue" between the cat and spider, and the cat and dog.

    Adorable!!!

This was such a cute Christmas story and I loved that it was told from multiple perspectives, the best one being the cat of course. As an cat lover, I thought the story was adorable, great light reading with a teensy bit of romance sprinkled in. At about 200 pages, it's definitely worth checking out!
