The Third Millemium, an unusual novel by Paul Meier, paints a blood-chilling picture of the chaos and confusion of the end times as witnessed by one american family as unforgettably narrated by their guardian angel, Michael.
This arresting novel--narrated by the Archangel Michael--convincingly portrays the final years of human history, as a psychiatrist and his family are faced with the trials of the end times, the Antichrist, and the final return of Christ.

I would highly recommend all of Dr. Paul Meier's books, including this one.

I read this book years ago, and was touched by the characters' lives. The narration and acts of Michael were also outstanding as it makes one realize that angels too have a personality. This book talks about the end times, something that many people speculate about. But more than that, it talks about how those who struggle through it are greatly impacted by the change of what has taken place. This book is more than just good vs evil. It is about the human right to live, for freedom, for suffering, and for believing whatever side they choose. This book also focuses on love, and the desire to show and give it. I would definitely recommend it.

Horrible. I once vowed never to use the word ennui because of its high-falootin' undertones, but folks, that is exactly what this little masterpiece inspires. From a plot utterly devoid of subtlety to characters who were forced to their fate largely by the sheer will of the author, The Third Millenium fails to deliver in any quality which could render it a decent piece of literature.
