...the book is remarkable for its lyrical beauty of language. It is the work of a poet. I loved the unabashed honesty of the author's dealing with a very complex subject. No sugarcoating. No Hollywood ridings off into the sunset. It presents prayer the way it is, the ecstasy and the agony... there is illumination in the author's seeing and insight in his personal revelations.

Something different grabs me by the heart each time I read Three Prayers. It's beautifully written, not an extraneous word in the whole work. An amazing combination of a simple message and profound insights.
