True love is hiding where you least expect to find it...

Jewelry designer Tori Henderson's first year in business was far more expensive than she could have imagined. Faced with closing the doors of Tori's Treasures, she sinks her last dollar into one final promotion-a widely publicized treasure hunt for a chest of fine, handmade jewelry that could drum up enough business to get her back in the black... or kill her shop once and for all.

The last thing she needs is her mother's announcement that she's preparing to marry Edward Trainor, the father of Tori's long ago summer crush, Gabe - a man who regularly makes his way into Tori's dreams some ten years later.

Corporate tycoon Jed Trainor has no intention of attending his estranged father's wedding, and he certainly doesn't need to see his half-brother Gabe after the other man put the moves on Jed's one-time fiancée. But with business problems looming, Jed needs time to think, and the small town of Moon Lake seems like the perfect place to hide away while he figures out how to save his empire.

The last thing he needs is the distraction of a beautiful woman who thinks she's in love with his idiot half-brother.

Tori is determined to win Gabe's heart, but Jed has other plans. When they learn Gabe is bringing a date to the wedding, Jed offers to bring Tori himself, knowing any woman on his arm is sure to be on Gabe's radar. But his ploy for her attention just may blow up in his face. Can Jed prove to Tori he's the Trainor brother she really belongs with?

This story is wonderful and the setting is great! I love the characters and the relationship dynamic of the them. While the characters were looking for the treasure, I found it! Can't wait to read more in this series and by the author. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via LibraryThing.

Book exchanged for an honest review~ Tori Henderson is about to lose her store Tori's Treasures. Tori is gambling on her treasure hunt to bring in much needed revenue. Tori's mother Bonnie surprises with the news she's getting married to Gabe Trainor's father Edward. Tori's never forgotten Gabe thinking of him often even ten years later. Jed Trainor is trying to prevent losing Trainor Enterprises from hostile takeover. When Jed learns that his father is remarrying and wants him to be his best man. Jed flatly refuses but in a strange twist of events he ends up in Moon Lake. When a beautiful woman asks him a question about past loves he's stunned by the question. When Jed discovers the his mystery woman is none other than his father's fiance daughter. Jed and Gabe don't see eye to eye on great many things including the past. Will Tori lose her business? Will Jed let go of the past? Will Tori admit she's falling in love with Jed? Your answers await you in Treasure on Moon Lake. Amy Gamet's writing and characters are exceptional. I find the characters to be so compelling, interesting, down to earth, and real. The story sucks me in from first page to last page. I simply devour the book in a matter of hours. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

The was a great story, funny, enticing and well told. With the mishaps of her treasure hunt, her Mother marring Gab's Father, Tori can't seem to get a break both in her business and Love life.

A happily ever after ending story is accomplished in this book but only after quite a bit of work is done by Jed and Tori. There are business troubles, family troubles, a treasure hunt and more in this little love story. Thank you Library Thing Giveaways for this book to review.

Oh my.  I read these books out of order, and read Fortune on Moon Lake first.  While both books are great as a stand alone, it helps to have the background on Tori, since there are references in book two being that she is Melanie's BFF.  As with every Amy Gamet book I have ever read, this book will suck you in until you wish you lived in the story.  I am now set on finding Moon Lake and moving there!  The story was great, as was the love "triangle" with Tori, Gabe and Jed.  I also loved how Jed's mom made it so that at some point, he and his father, Tori's future step-father, would have to mend fences and get back into each others lives.   Ms. Gamet's books are always an easy read and I never fail to read them from cover to cover in a single sitting.  (They are THAT good!)  I cannot wait to read the third book about Lisa, Melanie's sister and the relationship she apparently tried to spark up with Melanie's former boyfriend Greg.  I can only HOPE Ms. Gamet sees this review and hears my plea...don't let it end here!  I fell in love with these characters and I just can't see a way to end the story and have that be the end of them all!  :(

Good book, good character development. The story was able to keep my interest without any major mystery or traumatic event and the characters were well-developed - enough so that I wanted to reach into the book and smack Jed a few times. :)

I could barely finish and ended up skimmimg to get to the end. The story made no sense and the two main characters barely spent any time together while they were getting along. It was too short to make the scenes flow, they were short and choppy and hard to follow.

Tori is a mess financially and personally. I skimmed almost from the beginning. Tori's mother comes off as a shrew at first. Why a $10,000.00 treasure?? It was an outrageous sum. Why did't she pay some bills instead? The characters just didn't impress me. The best thing I can say is that it was clean aside from mild profanity.

I will read more books from this author. The people in this book are well rounded.

Insta-love in less than two weeks. I didn't see why Jed was interested in her when Tori kept rejecting him. Couple of sex scenes but actual act not shown so a clean read for those not wanting lots of sex in their book. Jed had a dysfunctional relationships with his father and half-brother. Overall storyline not very believable. Approximately 111 pages on my Nook. OK if you don't have anything else to read. SPOILERS... She put up ten thousand dollars worth of jewelry to drum up business that was facing bankruptcy. How is that going to save her business? No mention of any income from treasure hunt. Sounds like a loss of ten thousand dollars to me. She had clues & maps. Why didn't she sell them to anyone that wanted in on the treasure hunt...Hello, income! Jed offered to give her money to help out after only knowing her a couple of days. Who does that? They had less than two weeks together. Author has Jed say they were apart for a month. Next time he sees her, she says something about months. So inconsistent timeline. Of course they instantly forgive each other, confess their love and have a HEA. No epilogue. Just a few paragraphs at end of the last chapter (which left a lot to be desired). No mention of what happened to his business and why they are now calling her mother's house their house.

This is a sweet little story that is somewhat predictable but has enough twists and turns that the characters have to work through to find their happily ever after to make it an enjoyable quick read.

I was fascinated by the on-again, off-hand love pull between Tori and Jed, wondering if they would finally see the light! This book was very entertaining and sweet. Also a quick read.

Fine book if you get it for free. Otherwise, fell quite a bit below my low threshold of believability for fluff romance novels.
