Loved this book and getting a look into Rangers past. Was disappointed in the end. I expected more out of Ranger and Steph. You can't go through something like that with those emotions and not have something come out of it. She says she loves both men but can't say it after that event! When she told Joe that she loved him would have also been the perfect time for her to admit that she loved Ranger too. Joe wants her to change and be something dhe can't. Ranger accepts and loves her for what she is and help her to improve and be better. Ranger is changing and admits now that he is emotinally involved. They should be together!

As usual, this story kept my interest and made me laugh, more than once. The adult humor was funny without making it necessary to hide my nook from the grandkids. Looking forward to more and I hope Ms. Janet willkeep us informed about this bounty hunters goings on for a long time

I have read all of the Stephanie Plum Series...and I like this one the best. It's funny...esp with the Ranger and Morelli situation.

This book was filled with so much humor (as all the others do), real emotion, intensity, and amazing action - by far the best of the series yet! I love this series, but thoroughly enjoyed the storyline in this particular book. Definitely a must read!!!!! :)

After the disappointment that was Fearless Fourteen, I went back and reread this book. This is what a mystery book is supposed to be. Nice characterization, a bad guy that was bad and a little scary. Still the humor and pranks of the early books, but still edgy. I laughed out loud during the bar fight when Joe carries Steph out and goes back in for Lula. This was Evanovich at her peak.

Twelve Sharp continues Evanovitch's unprecedented mastery of this genre. She pulled me in immediately and every chapter seemed to open with a hook and end with a cliffhanger. I read this on a transcontinental flight and couldn't believe I had finshed the whole thing in six hours, I even forgot to eat.

I have never written a review such as this but felt that I would this time because of the malicious and unfounded words written against this book in the some if the reviews.I wanted to share my opinions. I really enjoyed this last installment of the Stephanie Plume series. I have to admit after reading some of the reviews I was woried, but to me this is one on the best of this series. I loved thta we were allowed insight into Rangers world, and the chemistry and by-play between Ranger and Stephanie is what keeps me turning the pages and awaiting the next book. I did not feel that their interaction cheapened the charcters but made them more human, Stephanie obviously loves both men and needs to deal with that fact. I personally am rooting for Ranger and the fact the he does not further pressure Stephanie says alot about the charcter's morality. I think that Ranger is torn betwenn thinking the Morelli is the right, safe choice for Stephanie all the while unable to dismiss their intense feelings for each other. All in all this was another great read, I won't hesitate to buy the next one.

I have just loved reading the Plum novels and Stephanie & Co. are just so entertaining. I love even more that Janet Evanovich realizes the fun and enjoyment her books deliver. As she says 'I know I am my fans feel good read.' (and you are!) It is so nice to know each time I see a new one out I can just buy it without checking out reviews :) I know it will be fun, some great surprises and just sheer enjoyment, which is what everyone needs!

I was on pins and needles following the turns this book took. One of the first in the series that I felt was unpredictable. Great read.

I was just turned on to Plum recently, and I've read them all including 12. I must say I loved it. It was great seeing Ranger as human finally. I love Stephanie, and all her neuroses. I love this series. It keeps me laughing and coming back for more. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. This is one of the best by far.

Number 12 is way better than number 11, and some of the scenes were sceamingly funny. I'm sorry for the readers who want to make Stephanie choose between Joe and Ranger. The fact that she cannot, or at least the fact that Ranger appeals to her is something that is inherent to the whole Plum series. Melvin looks like a good replacement character for Albert Kloughn.

I'm speechless. I never thought an Evanovich, much less a Plum, would haunt me like this. This book went way beyond my expectations in every way imaginable. Twelve Sharp has left an imprint on me I'll never forget. Thanks for an enduring series and an incredible twelfth instalment. The emotions ran high, the tensions even higher. It showed how relationships can strengthen and deepen to a level never expected because of trust, believing in another person and simply wanting to be there for them, making you go beyond yourself and do things you never thought were possible. A wonderful story of what it means to truly give of yourself. I have no idea how you are going to top this one.

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series is highly ADDICTING. I recently found out about this 21 book series and read the entire series in less than 6 weeks. It's got comedy, crime solving, romance, it's got everything to keep you wanting more.
