Finally Lacey and Daniel get their Happily Ever After! The bad girl meets the good boy, but the quickly learn that their impressions of each other are off. Like the other Beachwood Bay books before it, this book is funny, dramatic, and sexy. Melody is quickly becoming a fave author of mine with each book I read!

I thought the book was rushed and it felt like I was reading Unafraid again. There wasnt really a storyline and then it just ended. I'm really disappointed in the author.

Lacey James is Juliet's wild, crazy, and spontaneous best friend.  She has been living and working in L.A and trying to make her way to Beachwood Bay for Juliet and Emerson's wedding.   Daniel Sullivan is Juliet's very sweet and sensible ex. He was in L.A for business but trying to return home for the holidays.   Lacey literally runs into her long time crush in the airport.  Then again on the plane. Due to weather,  Daniel and Lacey get stuck a few hours away from Beachwood Bay.   One night, one hotel room, one trip to the hotel bar, a few shots of tequila,  and a game of truth or dare, what will happen between Daniel and Lacey? And can Lacey make it to Beachwood Bay in time for Juliet's wedding? Another great novella by Melody Grace.  All of our favorite characters are back to celebrate in the wedding of Juliet and Emerson!  Fantastic and quick read! Gladly give it a Nerd Alert B+ or 4.5 stars!  Can't wait to start reading Unconditional!

This was a very nice story. It was full of fear and learning to trust. I just wish it would have gone on. It seems to have ended short...maybe there is more to come?

I received an ARC for an honest review, and let me start by saying, I read this book in 8 hours. It would have taken longer.. but I have been at work all day too. ;) I love the Beachwood Bay series, and I've really enjoyed all of the books and their prequels in that series. This was no exception! Five words really started it all.. "let's play truth or dare." I knew then it was about to get started! I loved the characters, they had a fast paced romance, but it was steamy. One aggravating thing was, I just wanted to shake them and scream "go talk to each other!" The book ended kinda soon for me, I was expecting it last longer. It said I was 87 percent through, then it ended. It was short, too short. But, that's because the story was good! I knew it wouldn't be long since it was a novella, but I just didn't want it to end! I enjoyed it! I'm still not sold on Brianna's story yet, partially because I wasn't a big fan of her. But, I'm sure my opinion will change after I read her story! Thank you

Holy Holy Hotness.  Melody Grace delivers a spicy and sensual little morsel just in time for the holidays. Lacey James is a hot mess.  She is spontaneous and spunky all wrapped up in a gorgeous package.  She has the men eating out of her hand.  All of them except one, that is. Daniel... Daniel cannot believe his luck.  His ex-fiances best friend slams into him while running through the airport to catch a flight to, you guessed it, his ex-fiances wedding.  But, when Daniel boards the plane and sees that the destiny has Lacey sitting in the seat next to him his body reacts in a way he never expected.  For the first time he sees Lacey through different eyes... *BOB Alert* The chemistry between Lacey and Daniel will have your panties wet and you will need some relief after the pool scene.  Hot Damn!  Make sure you get to the store for some batteries for BOB because you are going to need them. I loved, loved, loved this story.  This is the first novella that I have read in this series and Melody hooked me so hard that I went and bought UNBROKEN and UNAFRAID and I cant wait to read them. If you want a tantalizing treat for the holidays pick up UNWRAPPED. I guarantee that you will enjoy the smoking hotness between Lacey and Daniel so much you will be begging for Melody Grace to write more.  Please give me more Daniel and Lacey @Melody_Grace_.

If you love Unbroken, Unwrapped is not to be missed! I loved seeing all my favorite Beachwood Bay characters--with the added bonus of the Christmas spirit. Seriously--what more could you want? I love love love Daniel. This was a great short read and I can hardly wait for more Beachwood Bay titles. Oh well--time to start rereading in preparation for Unconditional!

He's all I'll ever want. Only Him. And he'll never be mine. Lacey is desperately trying to make her flight so she can be with Juliet for her wedding on Christmas Day. But a blizzard delays her flight from making its destination. Now she is stuck at an airport hotel with no car rentals available. Fortunately she isn't alone. Oh no! She happens to be holed up with Daniel, Juliet's ex, and Lacey's crush. A chance encounter at LAX had them sharing the same flight out. When a game of truth or dare gets, well daring, they throw all inhibitions to the wind and lose their selves in each other. But will they feel the same in the light of day? Although she hasn't seen him in some time, the feelings are still there. Yes, she feels like a horrible BFF for ever having feelings for her best friend’s boyfriend, there are codes about this sort of thing. But Lacey has always knew that she would never stand a chance with him anyhow. She is the party girl type...he is into the good girl type. It was definitely one sided feelings. Or is it? The looks he is giving her don't seem brotherly, they are full of lust. Maybe, just maybe, she does have what it takes to capture Daniel's attention. But for how long? This short novella was the perfect read. I can't tell you how much I enjoy revisiting Beachwood Bay and hearing about all the people that call it home. Sure the majority of this one took place outside of Beachwood Bay, but all our old favorites were still there in the end. Grace is a fantastic author and her characters from this series are some of my most favorites ever. They are endearing yet troubled. The perfect double whammy for a story. An excellent short read that will have you hooked just pages into the story. You will want to read this one to see if Lacey gets her Merry Christmas and happily ever after.

Well, I was waiting patiently - OK, not sooo patiently - for Lacey and Daniel! And Melody did not disappoint! I loved everything about the two of them especially that scene at the pool. A perfect holiday read! And THANK YOU Miss Melody for bringing back all our faves from Beachwood Bay. Emerson and Juliet - true love is forever!

Hello amazingly delicious teaser! Yes, folks- this book is as hot as the above teaser! I was reading in the parking lot and I thought I was going to dissipate into a puddle of goo. Sighhhhhh! YOU GUYS. Melody makes me swoon SO HARD. I have LOVED every book she has written. And I have no doubts I will love every one she puts out in the future- she's THAT talented of a writer. The woman KNOWS how to write romance that will make your toes curl, take your breath away, and turn you into a starry-eyed believer in love and soulmates. I loved both Lacey and Daniel's characters! The two haven't seen each other in awhile, as Daniel used to date Lacey's best friend Juliet. Lacey has always been attracted to Daniel, but he's always been the good guy- sweet, genuine, and a one woman kind of man. He would never want someone as wild and untamed as Lacey. Or so she thinks. Lacey was the wild to Juliet's calm. Unlike her best friend, Lacey preferred partying and one night stands. Yet, Lacey is fiercely loyal to her best friend and will do anything to make sure she makes it back to Beachwood Bay for her friend. Running into Daniel (literally!) at the airport is quite cute. Lacey is awkward, shy, and a bit silly around him. She knows he is still hurting and getting over his previous break up, but she can't help but ogle the attractive man. Daniel. Oh, Daniel. I am SUCH a sucker for good guys. And he really is one. He deserves his happiness too, especially after having fallen for a girl who ended up still being in love with her ex. He had their lives planned out and both had wanted the same things: marriage, a family, etc. It was perfection- until it all crashed down around him. However, Daniel is working to push forward and even though Lacey is a blast from the past, it's not entirely unwelcome. He has eyes and she does not go unnoticed. She is still as beautiful and vibrant as ever and having to endure a 4 hour plane ride next to her is a good test of his self-control. The old expression "When it rains, it pours" certainly holds true in this novel. While Lacey needs to get back to Beachwood Bay as soon as possible, fate certainly has other plans in store for her. Her and Daniel find themselves together for longer than they originally thought. Both of them are clearly attracted to one another, but Lacey is too afraid to make a move, as he is the good guy, who needs a good girl- not someone like her. She also is terrified her heart wouldn't make it out unscathed if they were to have an encounter. Daniel hesitates as well, as there is a war raging within him. He is the good guy, but he desperately wants her. I literally felt like my heart would burst from all the tension! Even though this was a novella, Lacey and Daniel's attraction and chemistry was completely natural to me. They weren't complete strangers who just met and decided, 'Hey! Let's do this thing.' They have known each other for awhile and I felt Melody handled their relationship perfectly. Their interactions are filled with humor, some awkwardness, and a whole lot of sexiness, and we get to see a whole other side to 'good guy' Daniel. And of course the icing on the cake- we get to see our old favorites show up: Emerson, Juliet, Hunter, Brit, and Garrett! After I finished Unafraid, I stated I wanted Garrett to get his own book and TA-DA! His is up next! I can't wait!

I fall more in love with the Beachwood Bay series with every book that comes out. Unwrapped was just as amazing as the rest! If you can’t tell already, I loved Unwrapped. It left me with a silly excited smile on my face. My only complaint is that I wanted it to be longer. I was just getting all wrapped up in my favorite people from Beachwood that I didn’t want it to end. Okay, I’ll stop gushing about my love for the series and move on to the story. If you haven’t read any of the Beachwood Bay series books, (you really should) this review might have a few spoilers from the first book. We first met Lacey James and Daniel Sullivan in Unbroken, Lacey as Juliet’s best friend and Daniel as her ex. Unwrapped begins with Lacey in a rush to make her flight to Atlanta. In her mad rush she literally runs into Daniel. She hasn’t seen him for quite some time, but to her he still looks as good as he ever did. Running into him isn’t her only surprise; he is also on the same flight as her. Sitting next to him on the plane for four hours shouldn’t be a big deal, except for her suppressed feelings for him are starting to surface.  Daniel never really noticed Lacey while he dated Juliet, but running into her in the LAX airport has opened his eyes to how beautiful she really is. His flight home for Christmas just got a lot more interesting now that he is seated next to Lacey. He seems to be having a hard time controlling his body’s reaction to his very beautiful neighbor.  Everything is going as planned, until their flight has to be rerouted because of a blizzard in the Atlanta area. Stranding them together over night, suppressed feelings and some new surprising ones will surface and change everything Lacey and Daniel had planned or expected.  I wasn’t sure what to expect when I heard Lacey and Daniel were getting their own story but I so wasn’t disappointed. Melody did an amazing job sucking the reader in and not letting them go till the end. I almost needed a fan with the blazing hot chemistry between Lacey and Daniel. These two got steamy! ;) It was also really nice to see the couples from the previous books. It’s great to see how their relationships have progressed. Now I cannot wait to read Garrett’s book, Unconditional. We get a little hint at the end of Unwrapped of who his leading lady will be and I’m very excited to see how that is going to play out. To anyone who hasn’t picked up the Beachwood Bay series yet, please do, it’s a great series. To those who have, Unwrapped is a must read in the series.

"It's you" Daniel tells me, with a tender smile that makes my heart sing. I feel dizzy, light-headed, like this is alll just a dream, but no; he's here..."I don't know how, but...I couldn't just walk away." - Daniel This story, a novella no less, definitely threw me for a loop, and in the best of ways! Before I start, I'd like to say that this is the third story in the Beachwood Bay series and I recommend reading the ones before it (especially Unbroken), so you can get a better feel of the situation and characters. With that, there might be slight spoilers to those stories in my review, so be warned    The premise of this story revolves around the fact that Juliet and Emerson are getting married in Beachwood Bay, on Christmas Day no less. Though Lacey, Juliet's best friend, is the maid of honor, she's had to do all the planning via phone or internet, because she lives a coast away, in L.A.. On the day before Christmas, she's rushing to catch the last flight out, when she bumps into who else, but Daniel...Juliet's ex and the one she dumped to be with Emerson. To her surprise, they're sharing seats on the same flight, and when the plane has to land early due to a sudden blizzard, Lacey once again has no choice but to share the last available hotel room with Daniel...the guy she's always kind of had feelings for.  Now here's where I'd like to pause and point out how much I love it when authors can do what Melody Grace did here. When we first met Daniel in Unbroken, he wasn't necessarily a bad guy, but more along the lines of conceited, a little boring, and not at all aware of Juliet's wants or feeling. Suffice to say, I didn't like his character (and I also much preferred Juliet with Emerson). When I read the synopsis to this novella, I was worried how it would play out. Not only was Daniel not all that likable in Unbroken, but Lacey would be going after her friend's ex, which could get awkward. So the question is, did it work? I won't spoil more the plot to you, except to say this story was really good. Though I enjoyed Lacey's character just fine (some of her insecurities could be a bit grating), Daniel definitely stole the show for me! Under that controlled facade was a passionate man who wanted to love and be loved. And the things he would say to Lacey...oh, that boy could make me *swoon*.  Unlike the other stories in the series, this is a novella, so it's quite short. Most of the action occurs over the course of almost a day and a half, and while that might seem like not enough time for a relationship to develop, we have to remember that these characters have known each other for years. In that time, they've been bottling up feelings they both weren't even aware they had, and when they finally let them loose, their chemistry was intense! To top it off, that final scene was really quite sweet!  Added to Daniel and Lacey's story, we get to see some of other favorites couples, like Brit and Hunter, while at the same time, we finally get to experience Juliet and Emerson's wedding. It was fun to see everyone find their peace and happy, especially after everything they've all been through. As always, Melody Grace is a spot on writer! Her Beachwood series will probably always be my favorite of hers, if simply because of the beautiful settings and great characters. Added to this Christmas story, we also get so see how some other characters (who I at all did no see coming together, but am now so excited to read their story) might be getting their own happily ever after in Unconditional. All in all, this a great read to spice up your holiday list, and if you love this series, then it's a definite must read!

This is my first time reading a book from the Beachwood Bay series by Melody and it was awesome. How is it that every time I read one of her books I instantly fall in love with the characters! I was smiling the whole time I was reading it. Lacey and Daniel (the main characters) were actually introduced in Unbroken (previous book) but since I haven't read it, I was having to learn all about them from this book.  Daniel is the sensible, goal driven, practical, all around nice guy who's just down right sweet and lovable. I loved him the moment he was first introduced to me. "It's you" Daniel tells me, with a tender smile that makes my heart sing. I feel dizzy, light-headed, like this is alll just a dream, but no; he's here..."I don't know how, but...I couldn't just walk away."  Lacey is the wild, spontaneous, live by the seat of her pants kind of girl. She's hilarious and I loved that about her. She always had feelings for Daniel but could never be with him since he was with her best friend at the time. But fate brought them together and they ended up being exactly what they needed for each other.  The chemistry between Lacey and Daniel was great and it left me wanting more of their story. I thought this was a fantastic book. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer.  I will definitely read more of the Beachwood Bay series.

So deliciously romantic and smexy. Another knock out book from Melody Grace
