I felt this book didn't move along very well - and that some of the conversation was awkward - it just didn't flow. I liked the premise of the book - that an immortal could fall in love with a human and overcome obstacles so that they could be together, but Sebastian's reactions to her being a witch seemed too awkward. Disappointing.

Can a 300 year old witch find happiness and true love with a 35 year old mortal who thinks she's at best eccentric and maybe truly crazy? Alisande Wyrrd must take a lover in order to replenish her fading magic but instead casts a wedding spell on Sebastian Wainwright, the super serious minded, skeptical, logical head of Wainwright Security. This is a forever spell and will only work if Wainwright truly loves her and believes in her as a true witch. Will they work things out before the spell causes Sebastian to forever forget the witch and Ali is forced to live with a broken heart?

If one were to compare this series with her highlander you would think that two completely different authors wrote the books.
