Overview

The characters in WetWeb are struggling to understand the status of humanity in a strange world where biology and technology are intricately and unavoidably interconnected.

Quote from Al McKnight:
“If I lost a finger, a hand, an arm; am I less human? The answer must be no! Consider the converse case. When we animate organic tissue, a finger, a hand, an arm, have we created a part of a human? The answer must also be emphatically no.”

Quote from Hans Hoobler:
"What is walking among us? What cooks our meals and cleans our houses? What cares for our children? What strange creatures are these? What new race is born?”

In this not to far in the futuristic book, humanity is the architect of it's own destruction. For anyone who enjoys tech obsessed apocalyptic style books, it is a great read.

While a bit long and in desperate need of proofreading and editing, this is an excellent story. Using science-fiction, dystopia, and Twighlight-Zone-style twists, the author brings us to the brink of humanity's destruction by its own technology and ingenuity. I highly recommend this book.

Slow to start but worth it in the end. The plot was solid but the narrative was a bit flat. The big idea and the ending was a sucker punch straight out of the Twilight Zone or the Outer Limits. Good stuff. I would read more frombthus author as he (hopefuly) continues to hone his craft.

Started slowly, but quickly got into the story. At the moment I though I had it figured out, it takes a unique twist. Reminds me of a long ago story from the Twilight Zone. We are always looking to technology to move us towards Utopia, but never realize when we have over-reached our desire to have a perfect world until it is too late. I would read more from this author. I highly recommend it.

Loved the concept, and especially the ending. Awkward writing style, but a fantastic story. Definitely worth the read.

While not all the concepts are really original to the sci-fi genre, this book definitely presents some new ideas that are quite disturbing given how quickly technology has advanced in my lifetime. We're all preparing for the apocolypse be it by zombies, comets, or natural distaster; when what we really should be worried about is the technology behind that next new, gotta have it virtual reality game!

Wow. Just wow. This book is exceptional. Vivid characters and a very interesting plot. Dispite the numerous other books and movies on similar topics, this story feels original and suprising. Well written and a page turner

One of the best scifi plots i've read in years! It was probably a 4.5/5 because there are a lot of typos but I'll round up! Keep writing man!

Book started good. But later on there were a lot of pointless parts and story lost the action. No place left for my own imagination, the way of author to say parts of plot, some dialogues were even kinda funny. I mean in comparison to well made psychology and story teling of another authors. This book needs to be rewritten.
