Ginny Scales-Medeiros unique work is a brilliantly written book that depics a person's struggle to achieve happiness and success without any formal education or adult interaction. Her vivid details makes this novel a book you will not want to put down.

I am a very avid reader and this book was recommended by a friend so I got it and read it. What a great read this book is. I never put it down until I was finished with it. What a life this young woman has had. I am so glad I was given the chance to share this story with her. Thank you Ginny for having the courage to write this book.

Sue has survived molestation, poverty and mental abuse far more rampant than most could bear. It is a story, based on non-fiction, though it is a fiction novel, which speaks volumes of how courage, fortitude, perseverance and intelligence can not only bring joy and success, but also maintain a loving, caring heart. This story will break yours as it did mine.

I love to read, but sometimes I just dont have the time. I know this author and I had been dying to read this book. I purchased it on my Nook and started to read. I literally could not put it down. I read half of it the first night and the second half the next. I have never read a book that fast in my life! This is a story worth reading. Ginny Scales-Medeiros kept my attention!
I usually read romance novels but this one was very heartfelt and really what is everyone's interpretation of "What Is Normal"?

The first thing I thought about after finishing this engrossing, very brave book, was that parents and children should read it together, out loud. With the current epidemic of bullying and the current lack of compassion because kids are being robotized, this book will reintroduce them to humanity. The new normal, which the story has so beautifully underscored, is JUST BE AND LOVE WHAT YOU ARE and others will follow. It is powerfully poetic. I fell in love with Sue when she was introduced and that love grew so strong, I felt like she is a best friend. Starting in a rural, backwoods landscape and ending at the height of sophisticated success, the story presents hope in a uniquely compelling way. There is a real pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and it is brimming with love. It was my honor and pleasure to read this gem.

A poignant testimony of the power of a womans faith in herself and in powers unseen. Sues' journey is hauntingly familiar in the beginning - then takes a series of twists and turns of joy and triumph.
I mean really?
Sues' story resonates on a deep human level. This is a swift page turning tale of a courageous womans travails & triumph.
I could not put it down until the very last page!

I just finished this book, it was fantastic! Not only a great story but I also related so much to the character, loved it! The author, Ginny Scales-Medeiros, is a friend to homeless animals, my kind of lady. I highly recommend this book!
