Ms. Holland's vivid details of setting and characters allowed me to conjure movie like images of Boston and Montana. I AM NOT usually a romantic novel type, but my love of Montana led this Boston girl to purchase the Ebook. I am so glad I did." Nantucket Daffodil

"A clean, yet enticing love story." Lara C. Kelso
With the tragic death of her fiancé, Elizabeth Hamilton believed she’d never love again. The comfortable life she’s settled into with her brother in Boston, is upset when he abruptly marries. Displaced by her spiteful new sister-in-law, and hoping to find a home for herself, Elizabeth allows handsome cowboy Nick Sanders to escort her from Boston to her friend’s Montana ranch.

In Montana, Elizabeth meets attractive Caleb Livingston, a wealthy banker who strongly resembles her beloved fiancé, and believes she has a second chance at love. Yet, she has to fight a growing attraction to Nick. In braving the dangers and hardships of the West, Elizabeth discovers unexpected strengths within herself--strengths tested when an influenza epidemic ravages the town. As a child’s life hangs in the balance, Elizabeth must choose between the man who has everything, and the one with nothing but his heart to offer.

"A wonderful story. If you loved Little House on the Prairie and the Wagons West series, as well as early Linda Lael Miller and Susan Wiggs, you'll enjoy Wild Montana Sky and I'm sure, its sequel, Starry Montana Sky." Colleen Gleason

"What a wonderful romantic tale. I'm already in love with Montana and wild west stories. Wild Montana Sky by Debra Holland fed my passion. I'll be reading more of Debra Holland. Can't wait to read the rest of her Montana Sky Series. Five Stars." Erin

Editorial Reviews

Chantale GeekyGirl
"I'm not usually into western romance books but I must say I really enjoyed this one. It is very well written and I loved the characters. Even if you are not into western romance books but love those easy read books then I think you might like this one."
Juliette Brandt
I absolutely loved this story. It was beautifully written. While reading this novel I felt like I was actually there experiencing the beauty of wild Montana. The characters were refreshing and each of them was truly unique. I felt connected to these characters in a way that is rare in a novel. The love story completely captivated me and I found myself routing for their love until the very end.

I throughly enjoyed the novel and would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

Stunningly crafted, Golden Heart Winner Debra Holland captures the reader's imagination and heart in Wild Montana Sky.

Although deemed a sweet, Western, Holland expertly builds emotional tension and passion. Nick Sanders, the slightly younger hero, is divine.

Unlike other novels based in a similar time period, Holland's tale features many of the hardships without the unnecessary heartache. Also she fuels the reader's emotions-and honestly made me cry.

Meet the Author

Debra Holland began writing fiction when she briefly dated a young cowboy. One day she speculated that if they had lived 100 years ago in the West, their relationship might actually work. That idea inspired Wild Montana Sky, a Romance of America Golden Heart Winner, and led to an ongoing series, The Montana Sky Series. Book Two, Starry Montana Sky is also available on Nook, and Book Three, Stormy Montana Sky is a work in progress.

Debra's love for Jane Austin and Georgette Heyer, as well as many other traditional romances, led her to keep the series "sweet" rather than sexy.
