    Good book but ...

    I found the book a good read and I enjoy many of the authors other books, and the characters were fun and entertaining. The story line flowed at a decent pace.
    But ... she needs a new editor already. Horrible grammar flubs that make you give a double take at certain parts. And is the only reason I can't give this book higher then 3 stars.

    Outstanding, adventurous, thrilling romance.

    I'm not one for turn of the century books but this one captivated me from the start. I purchased it because of the author wanting to read more of her work but was immediately drawn in just like all her other books. I'll always buy whatever her mind produces. Outstanding writer!

    Very Disappointed

    This book is listed incorrectly under historical romance. It's a fantasy novel -- full of potions, charms and magic. The description doesn't accurately reflect this and I felt deceived after buying it.
