Not sure which Cormac McCarthy book to start with?
The Road, his Pulitzer Prize winning novel about a father and son's survival in a post-apocalyptic America, and All the Pretty Horses, darkly humorous story of a man and his (pretty) horses and their trip to Mexico, are some of his most read books and both are a great choice. If you're looking for McCarthy's newer works, the award-winning and bestselling author's latest books are The Passenger, an expansive, beautiful and haunting glimpse at life, and Stella Maris, the brilliant companion piece that's written entirely in dialogue, are his latest. McCarthy's career spans a collection of masterpieces that will continue to fascinate new readers and his greatest fans alike.
