Katherine Rundell is an English author of popular children's books like Impossible Creatures, Rooftoppers, The Wolf Wilder, The Good Thieves, Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms and The Explorer. Rundell's books known for their imaginative storytelling have won numerous awards including the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and the Boston Globe–Horn Book Award. She grew up in Zimbabwe, Brussels and London and is currently a Fellow at St. Catherine's College, Oxford.
