Emma Watson Will NOT Star in Fifty Shades of Grey, Thank You Very Much

We can now officially cross another name off our list of actresses who might star in Fifty Shades of Grey. Emma Watson, whom you might know best as Hermoine in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, or as Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, has quite passionately quashed rumors that she’d be playing Anastasia Steele. After reports that the hacker group Anonymous had revealed her possible involvement in the role, the book-adaption darling took to Twitter to settle the score:




Alas, we’ll have to settle for Watson as a middle-class kid gone high-end thief Nicki in Sofi Coppala’s The Bling Ring, due in theaters this June. And our Fifty Shades of Grey contender-list is now officially down to one name: Kate Moss, can you hear us?
