Just Biking Around: 6 Books All About Bicycles
Not much compares to the feeling of freedom and the wind in your hair as your ride your bike as a kid. Going fast down hills, zooming around corners, and racing your friends are all part of the fun. Here are a few of our favorite books all about bicycles to inspire you and your kids to hit the road with your own two-wheelers this summer.
The Bear’s Bicycle, by Emilie Warren McLeod and David McPhail
A classic page-turner that children will enjoy, The Bear’s Bicycle is a sweet book about a boy and his stuffed bear who like to go on bike rides through the park every afternoon. The illustrations tell the story of the stuffed-bear-turned-real-bear in the boy’s imagination, and show all the trouble the bear gets into on his bike! This picture book will make little ones laugh and encourage them to ride their bikes in the afternoons just like the little boy in the story.

Ready, Freddy!: Yikes! Bikes!, by Abby Klein and John McKinley
