Rolling Westward

Indians, snakes, bears, eagles, ducks--what do these have to do with Fern's aunt Sadie? Storytelling was one of Aunt Sadie's greatest pleasures, and these were involved in some of the stories she liked to tell.

The stories Fern liked best were the ones about Aunt Sadie's grandparents and parents as pioneers in Ohio and the thrilling experiences of Aunt Sadie's own eventful life.

In this book, Fern relates some of these entertaining and exciting stories to you.
