Our destination was the world's most infamous nation...South Africa in 1988! The circumstances of our journey were auspicious! Setting out from Charleston SC with all of our belongings in 12 suitcases and 3 small children under our wings we would arrive in Queenstown, South Africa after an 85 hour trek.
