One Pretty Dress

The very first time Matt Holmes laid eyes on Peggy, he was smitten.

I'm going to marry that girl, he thought.

Peggy had an air of elegance about her, and Matt thought she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. Her dress was made of soft blue velvet, with just a hint of grey that matched her eyes perfectly.

Peggy crossed the street, and as she walked past Matt, he tipped his hat and gave her a wink. She walked on by, but what Matt didn't see was the slight smile that crossed her lips.
