Mama's Biscuits

My Mama could make the best biscuits. They even won me 1st prize in a 4-H contest in the 6th grade! She made the best white gravy to go with them, and fried chicken on Sundays. And so many things were delicious with that gravy-- even fried bologna and wieners. Mama could make the best deserts too-- a strawberry pudding made like a banana pudding, coconut cream pies, huckleberry (wild blueberry) pies, and fried apple pies.
