Poldark

The Poldark series written by Winston Graham are a series of historical novels that follow the character Ross Poldark upon his return to England from fighting in the American Revolution. The first seven novels were published 1945 and 1953 and are set in the 18th Century. The rest of the series was published between 1973 and 2002 and follow the descendants of Ross Poldark. The series was adapted for television in 1975 by the BBC and again in 2015.
