2 Timothy: Faithful To The End
Bill Cosby was a high school class president. He was also a star athlete at Temple University. His giftedness and wit soon launched a career in comedy. It wasn't long until he was a popular household name starring in television and movies for almost six decades. All of his success came crashing down in 2018 when he was convicted of numerous sex crimes. While he is worth millions, he is spending his final days behind bars. He did not finish well.

Bill is one of many people that started well but finished poorly: Bernie Madoff was the genius of Wall Street, but he rigged a Ponzi scheme to steal over 64 billion dollars from hundreds of people. He also spent his final days behind steel bars. Lance Armstrong was an American cycling legend that let his persistent use of performance enhancing drugs lead to him being banned from all competitive sports and stripped of all athletic titles won after 1998.

What will keep us off that list? What will enable us to finish well? In this study of 2 Timothy, we find the answers.

In the Bible, Paul wrote his final letter to a young man named Timothy. Timothy would take Paul's place only months after this letter was written, when Nero ended Paul's life. In this letter, Paul makes a passionate plea for Timothy to finish his Christian walk well. The letter details what Paul says keeps a Christian on course so they won't drift into disaster. I invite you to join me in this study of 2 Timothy as we learn how we can stay on course and finish well.
