The Jackson 5 installment of MCA's 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection is a terrific, concise collection of the group's 11 biggest hits. There may be some smaller hits missing, but all the big tunes -- "I Want You Back," "ABC," "The Love You Save," "I'll Be There," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Dancing Machine" -- are here, along with two solo Michael singles ("Got to Be There," "I Wanna Be Where You Are") and a solo cut from Jermaine ("Daddy's Home"). The end result is a budget-line disc ideal for budget-minded casual fans.

I can listen to it over and over again.
I got to tell you when I heard that the Jackson 5 were going back with a new 5 CD collection of my favorite Jackson 5 Hits I was excited. I picked up all 5 and I can't stop playing them! I love it!
On the heels of the mezmerizing Bashir interview, this retrospective on the Jackson's returns to the amazing family before the surgeries and out of court settlements. This is a wonderful disc, but who could guess the ultimate conlusion of Michael's life? If if it is not, in the face of unprecedented achievemnts, a life of unfulfilled human potential, then who's is? His psyche appears to be absolutely stunted. All his activities and decisions appear to be fixated upon one goal: To get the next young boy! His destroyed face is merely a glimpse of the real Michael, tormented by personal demons few could ever fathom. In short, his life is one in which any 'success' he experienced could only inevitably mean him going further into the personal mirage from his own depraved imagination.
