After I published my first book of photographs titled: Twin Towers Remembered', in 2011, I still didn't have the courage to visit the site of the 9/11 Memorial. But, all that changed when I went back to the Big Apple to visit one of my old friends from Greenwich Village in 2013, he was very ill and has died since.
