About the Author

Anette Strohmeyer is a German crime writer. She began her career illustrating comic books but unfortunately never developed the skills to rival her role model, Jean Giraud aka Moebius, so she decided to focus on the speech bubbles instead.   Now, Strohmeyer is known for her fiction writing and meticulous, often immersive research work. She has participated in a voodoo ceremony in Haiti, eaten termites in the jungle, generated lightning in a high—voltage laboratory, and trekked through Japan’s infamous Aokigahara Forest along the edge of Mount Fuji.   Since 2018, Strohmeyer has lived in Denmark, where she splits her time between Copenhagen and the island of Møn. She also writes as Anne Nørdby, author of the bestselling Tom Skagen thriller series.
