In bestseller Jones’s enjoyable third and final mystery featuring Sunshine Vicram, the sheriff of Del Sol, N.Mex. The story is set in the small town of Del Sol, New Mexico. King’s voice builds a whole community, ranging from from the elderly townsfolk to the town’s flasher. Sunshine has to contend with a series of missing women while trying to keep her teenage daughter from starting her own investigation. King’s performance balances the older voice of Sunshine with the younger timbre of her daughter, Auri. Sunshine has a snarky sense of humor, and King’s delivery perfectly matches it.
