Adirondack Spring

Sunlight chases winter’s chill from forests of spruce, pine, and birch. The last patches of glittering snowpack melt on the peaks of Marcy, Algonquin, and Whiteface. Rivulets of water race down the slopes into the roiling waters of the Ausable and Saranac Rivers. A flood of welcome warmth spreads through the wilderness.
