The Story of Our Lives

A certain tragedy has plagued both my mother and me. We moved all the way from the West Coast to the East Coast, hoping to get our bearings and find a bit of solace. I know it's not going to be at all easy for either of us-me at a new school, making new friends, my mother transferring to a new hospital. There's going to be even more tough times ahead, I'm sure, but the only thing we can do is just take one day at a time.

And hopefully things will eventually get better down the road.
