The greatest generation will always be one of the most interesting times in American history. Why was this true? I had the privilege to be born in this period in beautiful historical Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I write this book as I saw it as a young boy. I was blessed with a good memory and an interest in all the things happening around me growing up in a small community, but a very unusual community during the Second World War.
