Joe Lee Anderson just received his veterinarian license and is eager to open up his own equine clinic. He already has a five-year plan mapped out. That is, until his mother, Zo Anderson, interrupts that plan when she tells him Jake Garrison, the father he never knew, is ill and possibly dying.
