Metal Angel: Five Graphic Novellas
Metal Angel- Five Graphic Novellas is a collection of short graphic novels that are more like intimate reveries, ideas that have circulated in the mind of the artist/author for years. More than ever these stories find relevance in and refer to present day situations, problems that affect the person day to day and a society over the course of history but in a fantastical way. They are created as visual statements that, above all else, lend themselves to being 'read into' by the person viewing and reading them. You are invited to spend some time on these novellas.

About the Author

Felix Carrión studied art in New York City and completed a BFA at Rhode Island School of Design. He has been working on these and other stories since the 1970s but its with the new digital tools that he has found a way to use a traditional training with a way of creating artwork in today’s world. While this approach to storytelling might be considered part of magic realism, they are part of an everyday seamless flow between the imagination and the world around us. He offers these works with the understanding that these are outlier stories falling outside the convention and the expectations of today’s story telling.
