Ironic Affairs

The walk was good for both of us. It gave me time to clear my head and settle into my decision to leave. I was feeling a little lost. That job had been my life for so long that I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I tried to calm my mind and enjoy the crisp air and beautiful scenery I took for granted all too often.
