Human nature has a tendency to create rules, expectations, and rituals with regard to religion. Christianity is the one and only faith that offers redemption without adherence to a set of rules. For two thousand years, it has transcended nationalities, languages, and cultures. It has waned throughout the ages when it has required adherence to extraneous rules or rituals.
