The Beautiful Trail

Ellen's Joyful Journey.

Ellen loved nature and was a running enthusiast; her favorite pathway lay beneath tall, stately trees and meandered along a beautiful stream near her hometown. Sadly, after her third bout with cancer, her runs became walks. Despite her suffering, she continued to walk on days when she was able. In her last journal entry, she lamented the possibility that she would not be able to walk her beloved path, the scenic route she referred to as the beautiful trail.
