About the Author

Allan H. Ropper, MD, is deputy editor of the New England Journal of Medicine; executive vice-chair of neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital; and professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School.

Martin A. Samuels, MD, FAAN, MACP, DSc (Hon), is former chair of the Department of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School.

Joshua P. Klein, MD, PhD, is chief of the Division of Hospital Neurology; clinical service director, Neurology; and director of Performance Improvement, Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is also an associate professor of Neurology and Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

Sashank Prasad, MD, is chief of the Division of Neuro-Ophthalmology, associate program director of the Neurology Residence at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and associate professor of neurology, Harvard Medical School.
