About the Author

For over two decades I've has been a financial journalist, with a particular interest in frauds and scams and how they ruin lives. 

My love for fiction writing led to the creation of fraud investigators Ruby Delaney and Hari Bhatt, who "separate the pros from their cons." Ruby's a troubled actress and Hari's the financial genius who would do anything for her.

I enjoyed this book better than the last one. I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for a review. In this book, one of the book club members falls to her death and Verity's friend Emy's mother is the prime suspect. Verity, Emy, and Lorne set out to find the real killer and get themselves into some dangerous situations. Still no news on Verity's aunt, but it feels we are getting closer to finding the truth behind her disappearance. Looking forward to the next book and hoping Verity and Jeff's relationship grows.
