A Florentine in Florida

Life is a journey of experiences, curiosities to explore, and memories. The Manatee River reminds me of the Arno River in Florence and the strong bell sound of our front door makes me think of Florence's majestic cathedral. We have olive trees that transport me to the Tuscany Hill of my native region and two tall cypresses, the Florentine tree, like two sentinels that stand in our garden.
