Overview

Founder’s Day weekend was always a big deal in Mt. Abrams, and not even the discovery of along-buried skeleton in Emma McLaren’s garden was enough to cancel the yearly celebration.  But when a newly murdered corpse was found dumped in a rowboat the morning of the Founder’s Day Parade, everything came to a screeching halt

Ellie Rocca was convinced the murders were connected, but how?  Detective Sam Kinali had taken the lead on the case, and politely but firmly told Ellie not to get involved.  But that was easier said than done, especially since Ellie and her friends know the killer won’t be uncovered until they found out who was buried in Emma’s Garden.

90 pages. The characters are a fun bunch. The story rambles some and for me a waste of some of the 90 pages as I had already read the first book and was familiar with the description of the town. Will buy the rest if not too expensive

A 85 page very well-written murder mystery story and second in series of smalltown Mt Abrams. Ellie and friends are once again in search of information when vandals tear apart a neighbor's garden and in the police investigation Ellie's dog finds.......which leads to....... No bad deed goes unpunished - eventually and in some convoluted way, it comes to light. Romance, family, friends, and murder.

This is the second book in the Mt. Abrams Mystery series. It can be read as a standalone, but reading the first book int the series will give a lot of background to the characters. I really enjoyed the first book in the series and I enjoyed this one also. Once again the author has combined some wonderful characters, a fun mystery, lots of humor and romance and written a story that is a delightful read.I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series. I was given a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
