Rarely have I felt so emotional about a book. As I read the last words, there were tears streaming down my face. I really can't remember the last time that happened to me as I finished a book. This is Lynet and Ian's story. It's the next book in Sherry's The Knights of Berwyck's series. While I loved the others, this is my favorite for now. All of the characters from her other books have a role in this one. We also meet a very special man, Rolf, who will charm you and make you adore him. Dristan, Lynet's brother-in-law, orders a competition to win her hand in marriage. Lynet is not interested, but is forced to participate. Ian, who has returned to the castle after a six year absence, has other plans. This is a powerful and emotional story of love lost, love found and family. It's truly one of the best books of that time period that I have ever read.

Loved this story of Lynet and Ian and how they finally find their own HEA! This wasn't a time travel story, it other characters from earlier books were from the future. Lovely story!
