Overview

A world-renowned spoken word artist prepares for his death after the engine on United Flight 328 explodes three minutes after it takes off. As he runs through his life, reminiscing on his most cherished memories, experiences, family, friends, past lovers, and those he holds dear, he asks himself, "Was it enough?" Coming to peace with the life he had lived, little did he know that his story had just begun.

After inheriting trauma from his near-death experience during the emergency plane landing, an abrupt move to Los Angeles placed him in reach of his artistic dreams, living underneath the Hollywood Sign, where an unexpected romance blossoms from a shared love of poetry, philosophy and psychedelics.

His story takes us through love, heartbreak, broken friendships, family bonds, deception, healing, forgiveness, and prophecy. Along the way, Marcel shares his experiences with understanding some of existence's most incredible secrets and meaning for life.

'A Moon Near Venus' shares how 5-MEO-DMT and psilocybin therapy prove to be responsible for guiding him through healing his trauma, mending broken bonds, and prophesying his greatest betrayal.
