About the Author

Jennifer Lewis Williams received a B.A. degree in English from the University of Kansas (creative writing emphasis) and a J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law. A recently retired lawyer after twenty years handling criminal cases, she has gleaned some of the reasons why individuals betray those closest to them, and what motivates criminals to do what they do. A Kansas native, she resides in a Dallas suburb with her furry friends: a cantankerous and moody Chihuahua and a rescued Siamese cat. She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Southwest Chapter, Sisters in Crime (national), and Sisters in Crime North Dallas. She loves creation myths from around the world, wearing bib overalls when relaxing, and reading and writing mysteries, science fiction, and tales about the Old West.
