Sites were evaluated according to ease of navigation, authority, currency, relevance, and scope; cross-references are used throughout, including See and See Also pointers. The list of subjects covers everything from architecture to terrorism and counterterrorism, indexed at the end by entry name and subject. While the listings are current, lasting relevance is a major concern for a guide of this nature—websites change quickly, and within the next few months, some of the links may no longer work. As something of a precaution, the author has included here not only site URLs but also the name of the publishing organization. This might at least allow users who discover a broken link to search for the name of the organization and find the information.
