The Author and his compatriots were transported to the most fascinating places by an expert guide, who shared a wealth of knowledge about each location. Pre-history was a large part of the knowledge shared, but most intriguing was the architectural, political and agricultural history of the Incas in the 15th century AD.

About the Author

Steve Comstock, after retiring from a long career in aviation, has shifted gears and planted himself firmly into the role of photographer and author. He has used his cameras throughout his travels across the world, but now he picks his own destinations. Along with Rosie, his Yorkie-Poo, he hitches up the camper and they head for locations chosen specifically for wildlife and landscape scenery.
From Spring to Fall, he can be found in special sites around the State of Michigan, hunting birds of all shapes and sizes. Raptors are his favorites, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula is fertile grounds for that search.
October to April, he travels across country to the Southwest, stopping in National Parks and Wildlife Preserves, photo-blogging his way across the country. Destination is Southern California, where he visits special Reserves and Sanctuaries to continue photography and blogging.
He has published three books and is finding that to be a true path in his future, so more will be published, no doubt!
